London is not an easy city to know.  Its people keep themselves and their feeling close; they don’t share themselves easily.  They are anachronistic with a highly developed sense of humor, so it’s fitting that only Monty Python could have come from here.  It took several long visits before I felt the beginnings of any connection to it.
