Ethereal

The camera is always credited as a faithful recording device, yet I'm constantly discovering mysterious ways to capture simple corporeal things suggest a representation of a “faithful recording” that is just not... well, not quite normal or conventional or tangible.  It’s easy to express “distortion” photographically in an obvious way; but to do so when all the components themselves of the image are of a finite, known quality is a truly unique expression.
